The window pictures play with the art form of stain-glass windows. Where daylight is the source of light and the coloured glass is self-adhesive translucent sheeting. Using a cutting-plotter, computer generated imagery can be cut to any required design. The image is created on a computer drawing programme. The use of basic colours red, green and blue play with the colour spectrum to achieve further colours through overlapping. The light boxes work on the same principal using a switched light source, ideally LED Strips to backlight the translucent sheeting to my design, Here a closed box with several sliding glass and plastic panels are used to achieve the colour interplay.
