The Art of the Corona Time A multimedia project
“Haven’t we all heard it said by now that we still learn far too little from history? Why shouldn’t we say ‘stop’ for once and claim that we have enough material to deal with a subject? Doesn’t time provide us with ideas for philosophical thoughts, the power to stop life in an instant to reflect and savour the beauty of life for a brief moment? On the other hand, don’t we humans have the task, even the duty, to always take care of ourselves and to constantly learn to reorient ourselves? Even where things have not gone as we would have liked, or even where people have fallen victim to various circumstances, to make things right again? And if the structures and people have suffered damage, to start caring for them again?
This project has set itself this task, all within a narrow degree of artistic possibilities, to do something good again after the pandemic, to deal specifically with the Covid-19 issue and to consciously start talking openly about it.” Miroslaw Tybora
