Artistic endeavour is not bound by media or technique. Media and technique offer a framework for artistic activities, infinitely variable, interchangeable and limited only by the creative energies and innovative skills of the individual artist.

My artistic work is multi-faceted and multi-layered. Materials are in abundance and extensive technical possibilities are available to us as artists. The limits of art are not known. The art the artist wants to create is limited only by the imagination and the artist’s ability to realise his ideas and not to get lost in the limitations of material and technique. It is the idea that matters. Exploring an idea in a particular material often suggests several possibilities and leads to unexpected artistic results. Creativity involves a fair amount of playfulness to explore new avenues. An essential task of the artist is to convince others that what he is doing is art.
