An art project as part of a museum exhibition “Wonder Forest” 28 April – 29 October, 2023.
“The exhibition is dedicated to the economic and cultural history of the forest: The forest in the Sauerland has long been the basis of life for the people in the region and provides natural resources. They have always used it in many different ways and the forest enriches our cultural life with stories and legends. But what has become of our forest? What are humans doing, what is climate change doing to the forest?
The exhibition explores the question of how historical use and future shaping of the forest have significant meaning for the people of South Westphalia, also in a global context.
Younger visitors are playfully introduced to the diversity of the forest and its inhabitants or can be transported into the world of fairy tales.”
