Sound sculpture Audimax FHS Soest “The Soest artist Richard A. Cox developed and completed a work of art over two semesters with students from the University of Applied Sciences Südwestfalen, Soest, as part of a workshop seminar “Sound Sculpture”. The object, an ambitious challenge for artists and technicians, an interplay of aesthetics, light and sound, has become a synthesis of art and technology. The interactive sound sculpture developed for the intended location on the Soest campus“.
Until the Audimax foyer became available, the work was presented at various venues: “Soestival der Klänge 2004” in the Nicolaikapelle, Soest and “Kunsthafen” Dortmund, an innovative art exhibition in a converted harbour warehouse at the Dortmund city harbour.
