Don’t feed the birds was conceived for the NRW garden show Oelde 2001. A group of bird-like sculptures. The reduced form of the sculptures consists of wings and legs. The wings are made of polished stainless steel and are mounted on a leg-like construction. The legs consist of a stand welded together from Corten steel. The wings remain bright and shiny, with the steel of the legs acquiring a reddish-brown protective rust patina over time. ©Richard A.
